This page explains how to invite team members to collaborate on a new project. After inviting team members to your workspace, you can assign issues and mention each other, as well as leave notes and more.


Choose Invite to add team members to the project

Invite team members

To add someone as a collaborator, you just need to invite them using their email address.

<aside> 🔑 For security reasons, we don’t allow adding people using just their username

Enter your collaborator’s email address

If needed, adjust their authorization level with the drop-down menu on the right.

Add a personal message to the invitation.

After you have added a personal message, click the Send Invitation.

<aside> 🔑 The invitation will arrive to your collaborator’s inbox from [email protected]. If you rather want to send the invitation from your own account, use the option below:

To send an invitation from your personal email address, select Send via personal email.

<aside> 📌 Please note that users will be added to the project when you click the button, don’t forget to send the email afterwards to make sure they are notified.

<aside> 💡 Sometimes, invitations from Bench3D can end up in your collaborator’s SPAM folder. Use the Send via personal email option to send the invitation from your personal email address.
